Long Time, No Posts!

It feels good to be back!  After a CRAZY school year, I took the summer off from blogging to focus on graduate school, my house, and my family and friends.  I am amazed with how fast the summer flew by, but I am excited to get back into the classroom and share my journey with you all...

I am thrilled to announce that this year I will be moving up to fourth grade!  I felt that I needed a change along with a challenge, which landed me in a position teaching fourth grade math in a three way split.  This means that I will have three classes (2 advanced and one average group) and my primary focus will be math!  Get ready to listen to me ramble about interactive notebooks, differentiation, math workshop, formative assessment ideas, and much more!  I may even have a new blog design coming your way in the next few months :)

As for now, I have linked up with Farley over at Oh' Boy 4th Grade for the August Currently linky.

Oh, and if you haven't already heard, there is a HUGE Back to School TPT sale going on tomorrow, August 4 through August 5. My entire store will be 28% off if you enter code BTS14 . I know there are tons of resources I have "wishlished" that I will me moving to my cart tomorrow :)

Enjoy your last few days of summer, or if you're like me, your last few hours!

  1. Congratulations on your new position and your new room! I moved rooms also, and it gave me a boost to rearrange things. Happy first teacher-back-to-school day!
